AddSecure, a leading European provider of premium IoT solutions with a focus on secure critical communications and data, today announced the appointment of Claes Ödman as new President of its business unit Smart Transport effective immediately.
Claes Ödman brings more than 25 years of international senior management experience, including positions as COO of Ascom, Chairman of the Board of Sensys Gatso Group AB, and multiple Vice President positions within Ericsson. He has a strong track record in driving change, growth, and business improvement, through focus on innovation and business development.
Accomplishments at Ericsson include leading a project to execute a new market organization, including a new “common core” with a solutions and professional service focus for Ericsson’s regions, affecting 50,000 employees, reporting to the CEO. Also, in his roles as VP of Ericsson Multimedia Solutions, and subsequently Ascom Wireless Solutions, he improved sales and executed 9 acquisitions.
