FleetVision Video

FleetVision Video is designed according to Privacy by Design principle. The DMS system monitors only the driver (not the entire cabin) and generates alerts only in situations of real danger (e.g., microsleep, phone use). In-cab video recordings are sent to the cloud only in the event of a road incident or critical safety breach, making the system a tool for driver support and protection, not constant surveillance. The system avoids invasive recording of the entire cabin with a dual lens.

ADAS cameras are a valuable safety feature that can help to reduce accidents and improve safety on the roads by using real-time AI technology to understand and interpret road risk, and alert the driver when action is required.

DMS is an in-cab monitoring solution, equipped with AI-driven facial recognition and infrared sensors, that enhances driver safety by analysing driver behaviour. The DMS cameras are typically mounted on the dashboard or the windshield to track the driver’s face and eyes to detect a variety of driver behaviors, including fatigue and distracted driving.DMS systems can alert the driver if they are exhibiting any of these behaviors. The alerts can be visual, auditory, or both. DMS systems can also be used to collect data about the driver’s behavior. This data can be used to improve driver safety.

FleetVision Video automatically uploads recordings of road incidents to the cloud via 4G/LTE connectivity. The fleet manager has immediate access to evidence material without the need for physical access to the vehicle or removing memory cards. Evidence can be provided to the insurer within minutes of the incident. A Live View feature is also available for real-time situation verification.

Installing the FleetVision Video system is simple and takes 15–30 minutes. Three connection methods are available: FMS, OBD, or hardwired. For optimal performance, installation by certified AddSecure technicians is recommended. The system is fully scalable—from passenger cars and trucks to specialist vehicles.
