The national TETRA networks are the foundation of emergency response operations - but sometimes extra support is required, for example in the event of disruption, lack of coverage or when external actors need to be involved. GroupTalk is currently used as a backup solution for emergency services in Europe. The service is based on 4G/5G mobile networks, Wi-Fi and satellite, and allows municipalities, emergency services and NGOs to quickly connect to GroupTalk via standard smartphones or computers - without special equipment. This gives all actors involved a common situational awareness - even in the most critical situations.
